Roller Derby

I photographed my first roller derby this weekend at the Fillmore Auditorium here in Denver, CO. It was a blast, especially because the Fillmore has to be one of the most photogenic places you could hold a roller derby. Hardwood floors, chandeliers, and a sold out crowd all helped make this images look so good.

Set Up Shot - I used a quantum Q-Flash high in the corner to light the action shots. I had another Canon 580ex in the other corner, but it stoped triggering and I was unable to get to it to fix it, so I had to work with what I had.
