Every once in awhile we find a special photograph that was lost in the shuffle. This shot of the Cistercian Abbaye de Silvacane in the Provence is one of those.
It is a typical bare, unadorned Cistercian structure but with beautiful lines, shapes and balance. The open doors let in the sunlight across the sloped stone floor of the dark church.
