Benzoyl Peroxide

For good reason benzoyl peroxide has been considered a top acne antagonist for some time. Today it’s considered better than ever, thanks in large part to recent scientific studies further validating its acne fighting power as even more effective than oral antibiotics. Recent advances in formulations and delivery methods have even further increased its ability to treat and prevent acne.

For maximum efficacy, benzoyl peroxide does require a bit of delicate handling as far as formulas go. Most important is to keep the ingredient separate from other ingredients in the formula so it is stable prior to application on skin. Find stable benzoyl peroxide in Rodan + Fields® UNBLEMISH Dual Intensive Acne Treatment, which protects benzoyl peroxide in a dual-chamber delivery system to ensure optimal delivery.

Just remember, while benzoyl peroxide won’t bleach skin, it is an active ingredient and can bleach towels and pillowcases. Opt for white, or even better yet, look for a new line of bleach resistant towels now available at most stores.

Zincidone

Danger! Oil spill! If you’re acne prone, where there’s oil, there’s acne … so minimizing oil production and absorbing surface oils is essential to avoiding acne accidents and maintaining a clear complexion.

Zincidone, a mineral based ingredient, provides both benefits and should be included in any anti-acne regimen. In fact, in a recent clinical study, blot papers containing Zincidone immediately reduced surface oil by up to 84%, reduced oil production over time by up to 21%, and with consistent use reduced surface acne-causing bacterial growth.

Find Zincidone in Rodan + Fields® UNBLEMISH Blot Papers.
