So tonight we went to Seva’s, a Vegetarian Haven in Ann Arbor.
Besides being an all vegetarian menu, it also clearly denotes the Vegan options available and many of its dishes can be made vegan upon request!
Joining us was a fellow Vegetarian friend K…not to be confused with this non-vegetarian K (confusing rite?) but anyways…this was our first time going out to eat with her and since she doesn’t know bout the bloggy blog, we did a blogger’s most saddest act…we forgoed the camera!
So while this post will be a post void of lovely pictures of our foodgasms, we hope you will forgive us and not ignore this post but still enjoy a little bit of blissful love in your day.
A lack of pictures however, doesnt mean we can’t describe to you our orders!
Bella Lena ordered off the Vegan Menu-Curried Eggplant- tender chargrilled eggplant with tamarind-coconut-peanut sauce, served with a really spicy vegetable-brown rice biryani and a cooling beet-soy yogurt raita.
Thoughts?–> a bite of spicy heaven with every morsel consumed! The cooling beet soy raita sat forgotten (Lena has yet to meet a spicy dish that she can’t handle!)
Bella Christina ordered off the Vegetarian Menu- Spinach Enchiladas– spinach, onions, garlic, mushrooms, and cheese baked in corn tortillas, with spicy sour cream sauce and house-made corn chips
Thoughts?–can you say cheesy palooza! The sour cream sauce was not spicy scary like this spicy avoidant bella thought it would be and the substitute salsa was ignored as she went dunk city on this dish!
Bella K ordered off the Vegetarian Menu-the Caribbean Quesadilla– Grilled whole wheat tortilla with black beans, brown rice, onions, tomatoes and cheese, with a sweet hot pineapple salsa, fresh guac and house-made corn chips
Thoughts?- “the closest thing to an orgasm that food can get to”<–we introduced to her the word foodgasm shortly after 😀
All 3 Bellas also ordered the Butternut Squash-Apple Bisque- warm sweet pureed squash goodness sigh
For dessert, Bella Christina craved cookies but since this haven didn’t have any 😦 she decided to forgo dessert.
However, Bella Lena could not ignore the ravenous beast calling out for the Vegan Chocolate Cake– two layer vegan chocolate cake frosted with chocolate ganache.
Bella K ordered the House-made Tiramisu– rich, luscious dessert of whipped mascarpone layered with Kahlua-and espresso-soaked ladyfingers, garnished with bittersweet chocolate
Dessert Thoughts- sorry we’ve decided to forgo words because these were inexpressible…we’re in sugar laden heaven rite now…yep just that good!
Safe at home, the camera came out to take a snatch at the bite leftover for midnite snack tomorrow’s lunch. MmMMm chocolate ganache the best part!
Since we plan on going out to more vegetarian places with K, we will definitely be telling her bout the bloggy soon, because the foodies in us just cant be ignored..luckily we believe she shares the same love for food as we do!
Do you ever feel weird about taking pics of food in front of people who don’t know about the blog? What are your feelings on this?
Nitey bloggy loves, you know we will never forgo blogging for you all and we’re glad you haven’t forgotten about us Bella’s and decided to stop by!
