Teaser Tuesdays – Single in the City by Michele Gorman

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Just do the following:

1. Grab your current read
2. Open to a random page
3. Share two “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page

My teaser:

Potential may be the perfect balm to soothe my wounded heart. Under normal circumstances, I wouldn’t be so optimistic, given the astronomical odds against meeting the love of your life on a speed date, but I think we can agree that these are not normal circumstances.

    That does sound like an interesting book…and the concept of speed dating is something I’ve seen in movies.

      I’ve not actually reached that point in the book yet – I just flipped it open and posted what I found, but it certainly sounds like a fun bit. I’m enjoying the book so far.

    Speed dating… eh… too scared of even thinking of it. Married too long… so living the speed dating via reality TV and glad I don’t have to do that. I’d be rejected before I could say “ehhhhhhhh hiiiiii.” See what I mean… 😉
