But I love advent.

Of all the notable people who have ever arrived anywhere, Jesus is the most notable.
Yet precious few were ready for His arrival.
O little town of Bethlehem
How still we see thee lie
Above thy deep and dreamless sleep
The silent stars go by
Yet in thy dark streets shineth
The everlasting Light
The hopes and fears of all the years
Are met in thee tonight
I love advent, not because it’s a countdown to Christmas, but because it’s a reminder that He’s coming again! Will you be ready?
“I set out to set the classic hymn ‘O Little Town of Bethlehem’ to new music and, in the process, rediscovered the song and its message. They slept through it. Bethlehem missed the birth of the Savior of the world. Jerusalem did the same with Jesus’ ministry among them. Seems crazy – ’til we as a nation look in the mirror.”
