DPRK Ambassador Meets Syrian Transportation Minister

Syrian state media reported that DPRK Ambassador to Syria Choe Su Hon met with Syrian Minister of Transportation Mahmoud Said in Damascus on Wednesday (11 July).  According to SANA, Ambassador Choe, “stressed the deep-rooted relations between the two countries, highlighting the need to enhance them and expressing his country’s readiness  to help the Syrian side in the fields of building and repairing ships and developing railway transportation.”  Said “pointed out the need to activate the cooperation relations between the two friendly countries, expressing the ministry’s desire to benefit from the Korean side in the fields of railway transportation and building docks for ships.”
