Something new this week. I thought it would be fun to have a little quiz each week. Since this blog is about birding we need to have a little challenge once in a while. I will start with a relatively easy one, and we will see how this goes. It will run for a week, giving all of you a chance to get out your bird books and guides.
Let me know in the comments, how you like this idea. I will post the final results next weekend and then we will try another one.
Have fun!! 🙂
That’s the worst thing about working back through posts – when there is a quiz, you get the answer first!
Cheers
John
Hi there, what a fantastic idea … a bird id quiz! I love it!! Bob, your blog is awesome and yet you still managed to kick it up a notch. It’s super duper!! 🙂 – Deb
Thank you, thank you, thank you, Deb I appreciate your great compliment and comment. 🙂
Cool idea Bob! But I think your birding quizzes will be way out of my league! 😉
Oh, I don’t think so, Karen. Heck, just make a guess. No one will know if you are wrong. Thanks. 🙂
I voted, but now I’m not sure that I voted correctly! I think you may be trying to trick us with a FEMALE red winged blackbird after I voted lark sparrow!
I like it but my kids are the birding experts so I will solicit a little help from them!!
Okay, that works for me. 🙂
I love this idea!!!! How fun!! Cant wait to see if I got this right….

Ok I believe it is a juvenile red wing blackbird how far off am I? 😮
First, thanks for commenting, Carol. I really appreciate your wanting to participate, and I hope you continue to visit. But, I can’t tell you the correct answer, as other readers read the comments. Sorry, you’ll have to wait until next week when I post the final results. Wow, this is getting exciting! 🙂
That is my guess, too 🙂
Hmm…we’ll see in a few days… 🙂
Great idea, Bob! You’re going to get some pretty random answers from me, but it’s a great way to learn! 🙂
