¾ – 1 lb. chestnuts
1 – 2 tbs. honey
¼ cup (approx.) olive oil
1. Cut a slit into one side of each chestnut.
2. Boil the chestnuts in salted water for 12 -15 minutes.
3. Let the chestnuts cool in the water until you can handle them.
4. Peel the shells and the skin from the nuts.
5. Chop roughly before placing into a blender or food processor.
6. Stream in olive oil and add honey.
