Thursday — Adventure Day

Today, we are Exploring the wilds of my college room mate’s beautiful, expansive backyard and favorite playground… WEST HOLLYWOOD!!

I’m designing a scavenger hunt with “stars” for prizes. The kids will look for:

* the HOLLYWOOD SIGN
* the biggest, best fountain we’ve seen all summer
* count Harry Potter movie billboards (highest number wins!
* a store completely covered in vines (there are two on Melrose I know of)
* and a building in the best shade of pink, ever.

Wow!

Our day of fun is wiping me out. From touring Melrose to exploring The Grove and riding on the double decker bus… And… This was a trip worth saving for, with an outing at the American Girl store!!! More on this later as impute sure an Ameerican Girl birthday party is in E’s future…

Let’s just say, we are all gonna sleep well tonight!!!
