=====

Today’s single-shot Contact Sheet is of the most recent work by Purdy Forcella, also known in world as Purdy Mildor.  This is an abstract piece, as you can get an impression of from the thumbnail I’m including here.  Again, this is not a piece I’m going to reproduce here in full; you really need to go to Purdy’s Flickr stream and take a look at this, and then perhaps take a much longer look at it, and let it work its magic on your own imagination.  (Click on the thumbnail to get to Purdy’s page.)

There is a definite element of struggling free from a place where the subject is caught ex nihilo — lost in the void and trying to emerge from this chaos into a greater reality.  More than that, I leave as an exercise for the viewer to find within yourself, as all good art should encourage you to do.
