Helloooo…
Well…I am going to pretend that someone, anyone, noticed that I haven’t been updating my blag since Monday.
The reason for my missing in action is because of my computer refused to start 😦 After my brother investigated the problem, he found out that my motherboard was broken 😦 . He is the only one who understands computer so I have to wait till he had time to buy the new motherboard. The computer wouldn’t start on Tuesday and tonight it finally comes alive again 🙂
During that time, I realized how dependent I am with my dearest computer. My life was a bit miserable without it and I am not exaggerating.
When I came home from work, I usually chat with my in law, my father and my brother and always play with my naughty but super cute nephew, Rio. But when night comes, I go to my room and begins watching movies or youtube or online.
And for 4 days…I can’t do all my night time fun…those 4 days were boring nights!!
All I can think about is WHEN WILL IT BE FIXED?
TV has no use for me since it has nothing but silly soap operas and monotonous TVshows. I need my computer and all the files in it!!
The weirdest thing is how not being able to write for my blog or read my friends’ blogs have become a meaningful spending time. I can still read my friends’ blogs from my mobile but it’s still not the same as using PC and for some blogs, I really have to use my PC.
Blogging has become a kind of entertainment for me.
Beside blogging…I need this this computer to see my favorite movies and TVShows.
Dear computer…please don’t be broken again xxx

JRL always have great line up. I went there to see Mr. Big 3 years ago, I couldn’t come to see Cranberries 2 years ago and last year there was no JRL. I wasn’t planning to come this year BUT then I saw a name I want to see real bad, Collective Soul. I don’t much of their latest songs but I really like their older songs.
I have reviewed their Live DVD back in 2006 in my native language. I will rewrite that review and published it before the concert 🙂
These two will play before Collective Soul. I am looking forward to hear Kiss Me by Six Pence Non The Richer (that’s the only song I know from them)

I love that book even though the ending is a bit off but I still consider it as one of my all time fav from King. I like how everyone in that small town has strong characterization…I plan to reread it and the time will be a week before June 24 🙂
I am planning to make a book vs miniseries comparison, like what I did with The Lord of The Rings – The Two Towers.

I am pleased that you have fixed your computer Miss. Novia and I know what you mean about missing it, we all become addicted to them and being without is definitely not an option 😦 You are a regular visitor to so many blogs around our blogosphere, definitely better than I am for visiting but I do miss you on my Space when you are offline, I figured that you were taking a holiday or something but I am happy that you are up and running again my sweet friend 🙂 🙂 Have a lovely rest of weekend and enjoy playing with your nephew Rio i am sure he must have nissed you also 🙂

I did notice that you weren’t posting much, but I had no idea it was because your computer was down. Many years ago I tried to upgrade my RAM myself, and cracked my motherboard in the process. It was especially bad because I didn’t have any backup on my hard drive and couldn’t be sure I’d ever be able to access it again. Ended up hiring a professional to rescue it for me.
I haven’t thought of Collective Soul in a while. I like them, too.
What a great premiss for a story on Under the Dome. But then, you can expect that from King. I might even catch this one.
So far, there are only two reasons that can keep me away from posting…away from hope or computer malfunction, and you guessed one of them correct 😉
I was fortunate because my brother understands computer really well so I don’t have to call any service.

I am going to do a weekly post on Under The Dome, hope you can catch the show and share your thought…It’s a great story with not so good ending, but the whole process made up for the bad ending, IMO.
I should have known it would have a bad ending. That’s to totally King-like. At least in the movies I’ve seen.
Under The Dome will have a new ending 🙂 King sometimes has bad ending, that much I admit but most of the time he has great ending (otherwise I wont be his huge fan 😉 )
I didn’t mean bad as in low quality, but bad as in not happy.
Not happy is not bad for me, I don’t like forced happy ending. If it’s supposed to be sad then be it.
He does have bad as in low quality ending sometimes, it’s like he couldn’t create extravaganza ending at that time….but the journey is always good.
I’m glad you got your computer fixed. I know I wouldn’t last long without one. I make my comics and art on it, do all my website creation and maintenance on it, read all the blogs on it. Life isn’t possible without a computer!

It’s scary how we depend so much on this machine…for work, socialize and fun.
I’ve found that much of King’s recent stuff has started out well and then gone off the rails (I’m looking at YOU, “Bag of Bones”) — an affliction shared by the one book of his son’s that I read, “Heart-Shaped Box”. I haven’t picked up anything by King in quite a while, but I will always love “Salem’s Lot”, “Needful Things”, “The Tommyknockers”, “The Stand”, and more.
I read Bag of Bones ages ago…can’t remembet how it ended but I do remember that I have no complain about it.
You must read one of his latest books, 11/22/63 it gets better at the end. Under The Dome was great but it is one of the thing you’ve mentioned … gone a bit of the raill.
Ah tommyknockers…that’s a book with mixed reaction, some hate it some love it. I haven’t read it yet.

I had a broken laptop during Christmas break and it was very annoying although I still have my PC. I know how you must have felt. Fortunately it’s working again.

I could be a Lamb too, I suppose although my war movie blog is sleeping a bit at the moment. All the war movies I watched lately were sooooo boring.
I am planning to buy a laptop soon…I need it for a back up plus to be more active to write my book (not sure if that ever going to finish)
Maybe because they aren’t THAT famous. I like Collective Soul because they sound different and have their own style.

I quite like festivals because I get to see many bands I never have heard before….as long as it’s cheap. When BLUR came I really wanted to see them but they were in a festival which was BLOODY expensive.

I am REALLY sorry about your computer troubles, as I fully relate to that. It is so unbearable, not able to do your usual daily thing on the computer.
