Wizkid and Davido: win again

===Davido, Wizkid, Yemi Alade, Beverly Naya, Falz Falana, and Tania Omotayo have made the “2018 Forbes Africa under 30 List.”

With a list of 90 young entrepreneurs across three sectors- Creative, Technology and Business, Nigerians made up close to one-third of the honourees.

===Veteran artistes Ibidun Allison also known as ‘Amebo’, Liz Benson and some others will be honoured by the renowned actor, Olusegun Akiremi, popularly known as Chief Kanran on July 1.

Kanran said the recognition was an opportunity to celebrate great veterans for their remarkable contributions to the growth of the industry and country, and would coincide with the premier of his latest movie “Don’t Shout”.

====Nollywood actor Kanayo O. Kanayo has declared his intention to run for the House of Representatives under the All Progressive Grand Alliance Party.

He made the announcement on his Instagram page, soliciting for prayers and support.

=====Bad news for Shisha smokers as the Federal Ministry of Health says it is working with key stakeholders to ban flavoured tobacco, including ‘Shisha’ to protect youths from addiction to the product.

Minister of Health, Prof. Isaac Adewole, said tobacco- whether Shisha, cigar or cigarette, was harmful to the health and prompted heart and other cardiovascular diseases.

====Kanye West’s big revelation of his mental health is phenomenal.

West, in a chat with radio host Big Boy, revealed he was bi-polar and was diagnosed with a “mental condition” at the age of 39.

==Karen Gibson, Gospel choir leader at Prince Harry and Megan Markle’s wedding, says the gospel version of the song “Stand by Me,” an highlight of the royal wedding, marked a cultural shift in Britain.

Gibson also revealed the performance at Windsor Castle had been a massive boost for her choir as they could barely keep up with requests for interviews, tours and weddings.
