During the Holy Week, a friend was kind enough to let  us borrow their unit in Hamilo Coast. So along with another family, we picked up and drove to Batangas.  It took us 6 hours to get there, and we were sorely reminded why we don’t go anywhere during holy week.

When we arrived, these greeted us.

The project is quite impressive.  They have a Country Club with 2 restaurants.

Inside, there is a bowling alley and a playground.

There were also game and karaoke rooms.  Our kids went bowling and it was a drama when the youngest girl(who rolls the ball with 2 hands) ended up almost beating the 2 older boys.

Of course the babies went berserk in the playroom.

They also have a Beach Club, which also had a pool, 1 restaurant and beach bar.  Our kids really enjoyed playing here.

It is not white sand, but it was clean; no UFO’s (unidentified floating objects) and the water was not itchy.  You can do Banana boat, Jetski and Kayak.  But there were just too many people so we opted to be lazy.

There are also pony trails and ATV which our boys tried.  They said the equipment needs to be replaced.  At least our kids had a whole lot of fun.  Gotta love kids for their no frills happiness.

The service and food though, needs a lot of improvement.  We were happy we were able to cook food in our unit.  Just like the SM malls, where you can’t really depend on the sales people to help you except try to get you stock.  SM badly needs to pirate somebody from Ayala or Bobby Horrigan(who use to run Discovery, now runs acacia) to make this place achieve its potential.

Thanks Patty!!
