Lovin' Lately | August Faves

Last month just flew by so quickly but I am super excited for September as its my birthday month 🙂 I have few hauls coming up this month as I am planning to re-purchase couple of my loved products and try some new ones as a treat for my birthday 🙂

Well without further ado, let’s move on to the products I’ve been loving last month.

I am a sucker for Tea. There was a time when I used to hate Tea but when I got married, my husband used to wake up only with a cup of tea lol. The affair with morning tea started and then came the evening tea habits as well and now if I skip Tea, I get headaches! That’s a typical Indian/British (both) in me, Haha!!! I have really been enjoying The London Tea Company Early Bird Tea last month. There is something luxurious about the tea bags..the net they use to wrap loose tea and the quality of tea, that delicious smell makes me feel special. Honestly, this is addictive!

Okay I have shared this on my Instagram about my story with these breakfast cereal. I love to munch these as snacks anytime and everytime. These are wheat cereals and once you start eating these , you would find these very tempting. So the Munchy of the Month award goes to Nestle Shreddies 🙂 .

I love wearing Bronzers all round the year and this offering from Urban Decay has been my latest find. I am glad I picked this up as I have already been regretting about the limited edition Afterglow highlighter ‘Sin’ that came out earlier and I skipped that. It went out of stock so quickly everywhere. I thought I might not be able to get my hands on the bronzer later if I don’t get this now. Feelunique had 10% off on all Urban Decay products and that surely was a sign too :). This bronzer is very pigmented so it just needs a quick swirl of brush with this bronzer on my cheeks and viola i get the perfect bronzed sun kissed look. Pale girls should go light handed with this. It is super soft in texture so it blends very easily. The shade is perfect warm (neither too orange-y nor too brown) on my medium skintone. Definitely check this out!

I have had this since last year when I placed my first Kiko order. I never got round to using this as I hardly wear loose pigments as eyeshadows. Recently, I discovered this solution makes eyeshadows more vibrant and stand out on your lids. Just dip your brush in this or spray this solution on to the brush (I prefer spraying for hygiene purposes). This makes the pigment or eyeshadows pop and look amazing.

I have also been loving this compact Morphe palette in 12s Soul of Summer palette. It has all warm shimmery shades from golds to bronzes and it looks absolutely stunning. It is travel friendly due to its size but a mirror would have been handy in this. At this price, I should not complain about the mirror though.

My combination skin has been slightly oily on humid days. This translucent pressed powder has been a Godsend seriously! It is very light weight and just takes away the shine in one quick swirl of brush without making me look cake-y.

This grape water spray is such a refreshing mist that provides me instant refreshed look. I usually use this a toner after cleaning my face but when I go out on hot days i keep this in my makeup bag to refresh my makeup in the middle of the day. It also helps to give me a flawless finish over makeup which is a plus.

This offering from Vichy Laboratories is a very light moisturizing gel that feels amazing on the skin. It gets absorbed so quickly and is non sticky or non-greasy formula. I am currently using this as my night creme and this doesn’t break me out. I recommend checking this out.

These were pretty much my last month’s faves. What have you been loving lately? Let me know in the comments down below.

Until next time..

Loads of love
