House of Cards – dá pra não gostar!?

Desde ano passado tenho assistido House of Cards e a série me encantou duma maneira que não consigo parar de ver e/ou fazer mil comparações com ela.
O único motivo pelo qual eu não sento agora e vejo a 3a temporada inteira é que ela é uma série que eu assisto junto com o meu namorado e ele não tem a mesma vontade insana de ver trocentos episódios seguidos que nem eu.
A temática gira em torno da ascessão política de Frank Underwood e sua mulher Claire Underwood e todos os meios que os mesmos tem que usar para subir. A série é da Netflix, e Netflix é vida, né gente!?

O Frank é o “vilão” que vai fazer você torcer por ele. Desde a primeira cena da série, e depois episódio após episódio ele sempre acha uma maneira de te surpreender. Nós (eu e Beto) estamos no começo da terceira temporada e até agora nunca sabemos o que esperar de cada episódio. Até a Claire é um mistério pra mim. Não consigo entender a mulher. É muito intrigante, e muito gostoso ver toda essas tramas.
Fiquei pensando o motivo de flertarmos tanto com a personalidade do Frank, e talvez seja porque ele também fica puto, quer se vingar de pessoas que o passaram pra trás, quer poder, enfim, coisas que desconcertam quem as sente, mas o Frank, bem, o Frank consegue manter a frieza necessária pra dar a cartada certa na hora certa. Ele raramente age por impulso, e quando age, tem a Claire lá pra lembrar ele, “hello! vc lembra do nosso objetivo maior?”
Essa característica, a frieza para conseguir resolver coisas quentes…acho que isso é o que todo mundo admira no cara, fora a determinação né, que dá e sobra. Quantos de nós consegue ter toda essa determinação frente a todos os obstáculos que a vida vai nos impondo?
Honestamente não sei como eles pretendem terminar essa série. Se vai ser tipo Star Wars, ascensão e queda de Darth Vader, ou se será mais um estilo o mal se safa. Na minha humilde opinião ele deveria conseguir se safar, pois ficaria mais próximo da vida real…mas enfim, tenho cá minhas dúvidas de que isso aconteça. Americano tem um padrão bem previsível de história.

House of Cards – can’t you not like it?

Since last year I’ve been watching House of Cards and the series got me on a way that I can’t stop seeing and /or making several comparisons with it.
The only reason I don’t sit and watch the whole 3rd season is that this is a series I watch with my boyfriend and he does not have the same freak willing on watching hundreds of episodes at once.
The series tells the story of the political rising of Frank Underwood and his wife Claire Underwood and all the mechanisms they use to make this rise happen. The series is from Netflix, and Netflix best thing ever invented, right!?
Frank is the “vilain” that will make you support him. Since the firs series scene, and the episode after episode he always finds a way to surprise you. We (me and Beto)are in the beginning is the 3rd season, and until now we never know what to expect from each episode. Even Claire is a mystery to me. I cannot understand that woman.It’s to intriguing and too good to follow all the plots.
I was thinking about the reason that we flirt so badly with Frank’s personality, and maybe it’s because he too gets pissed, wants revenge from people that cheated him, wants power, well,things that would make everyone that is facing them lose control, but not Frank. He can keep the necessary coldness the give the final move on the right time. He rarely makes any decision by impulse, and if he does, there’s always Claire there to remember him, “hello, do you remember our biggest goal!?”
This characteristic, the coldness to resolve the hot stuff…I guess this is what everyone admires on the guy, and this without mention the determination, which he has so much he can give some away. How many of us can have all this determination facing all the obstacles that life impose to us?
Honestly, I don’t know how they intend to end this series. Maybe it might be like Star Wars, the rise and fall of Darth Vader, or it might be on style the evil gets away without punishment. My opinion, the “bads guys” should get away, because this would be very similar to real life, since the series proposal is to represent a pseudo-reality of the American Congress.
