Skywalker V323 RC Hexacopter Finding a great product to expand your quadcopter collection or even to start one can be a headache and there is no denying this. This is because there are numerous different drones on the market, all claiming as being amazing. In return, this makes it hard to actually find the most suitable, but don’t worry, because you are not alone.

Research is a core factor in picking the right product. I personally enjoy learning about the different quadcopters on the market place

I love studying on different drones on the market then I return and report my findings to my readers (I refer to it as giving you guys/girls a helping hand). Recently, I have discovered the Skywalker V323 and wish to share my thoughts with you.

Description of the Skywalker

Produced by WLToys it’s made of durable ABS plastic and features no less than 6 motors. The 6 blades are protected by shell made of moulded foam which absorbs impact making it stable and easy to fly.

Features and Benefits

The Skywalker V323 has a flying time of 9-12 minutes on full charge, with full charge taking 90-120 minutes to reach.

It comes equipped with a lithium polymer rechargeable battery and charger.

It features a flying radius of 100-150m.

The package also has a 4 channel 2.4 GHz transmitter.

Pros and Cons

There are also some cons to this product, when it’s flying at eye level it’s quite difficult to tell which direction the drone Hexacopter is facing making navigation tricky. The motors are also prone to overheating and failure if the product is run at full throttle. As, the product does not come with a GPS system so keeping an eye on it is imperative, it will fly out of sight if you let it.

Conclusion

This product is ready to be flown straight out of the box, however due to the sheer size of the product, beginner hobbyists may find it difficult to keep under control. The slow yaw rate of the Skywalker V323 makes it a great choice as an FPV platform because the flight stability it fantastic, however for experienced hobbyists shopping for a sports flyer it’s probably not the most ideal choice. I would recommend this product to intermediate flyers looking for a more relaxed product to enjoy rather than as a racing Hexacopter. However, it is definitely a fun and eye catching upgrade to the hugely popular V262.
