Drama viewership ratings for the week of Aug. 15-21, 2022

As expected, our Extraordinary Attorney ended on record highs: 17.5% which is just mind-blowing, basically. But next week’s Wednesday-Thursday slot should be interesting, since both Adamas and If You Wish Upon Me are worthy of more viewers.

As for our weekend shows, Big Mouth continues to climb, and… I think people missed Alchemy. It was back on air this weekend reaching over 9%, and that’s sure to get even bigger next week for the part one finale. *weep*

I wished AoS had four more episodes to air after this rating so they'll see the consequence of what they did with ep 18. That 2% jump was for nothing.

ENA's next show has shoes to fill in.
What's up with Wild Boar Hunting? The show's really good.

Todays webtoon and If you wish upon me are not maintaining but dropping in the last two weeks let’s hope they pick up in this weeks ratings.
Thankfully Poong is at least maintaining its 5% I would like it to climb more though.

The ratings for Adamas and Today's Webtoon make me sad. I'm probably enjoying those two the most right now.

That final rating for EXTRAORDINARY ATTORNEY WOO actually understates the impact of the show. These ratings only refer to the immediate home audience in the ROK. For the past several weeks that show was one of the top ten shows on Netflix- meaning it was a world-wide ratings success.

ITS BEAUTIFUL NOW was slow to pick up but is now getting more love.

I check on this thread when I want to know what's on daily. I just realized that EAW was the only kdrama I was following. I am trying to follow JCW but the more than 1 hour showing with that kind of story is rather too long for me.

I was caught up in cdramas for sometime. Currently on last year's Our Times. Following LLtG, this cdrama of the ML caught me. It's like the reply series of kdrama with the 80s-90s vibe. More interestingly, it's a creative take on the founding of the Lenovo brand. The founders' story are sort of split across several characters and situations. But the milestones are there. I wish for more 'true to life' stories. The Jung Ilwoo follow-up to EAW seems exciting. I saw a dancing clip of the cast. A chaebol JIW would not be bad, I hope. Hope I can catch it on legal sites. Have a great drama watching week, even it's past midweek. There's the week-end for some of us to enjoy.
