Jennifer McMahon is an emerging artist on the Dublin contemporary music scene. She is a vocalist, songwriter, performer and producer. A Dublin native, Jennifer studied jazz performance at Newpark Music Centre and went on to receive her masters in music (contemporary performance, production concentration) from Berklee College of Music in Valencia, Spain.
Her debut album ‘Part of The Whole’ was written following the passing of her father and was recorded during her studies, featuring more than 20 musicians from across the globe. Though her music is heavily informed by her studies in jazz, Jennifer considers herself a singer- songwriter, finding joy in sharing words and stories. She is the founder of irishwomeninjazz.ie and is an advocate for women in music.
Here at Back Loft Creative hub, Jennifer uses the space to explore her creativity which might produce anything from a pair of earrings to a song or poem. The studio is her space to explore and create.
