colt ZEBEEDEE – DAISY HILL (David Evans)

He cost 17000 euros and is from a Sheikh Mohammed bred and owned mare who was placed in France over 8F, having previously run unplaced in two Listed Races.  She has produced two winning foals at distances between 6F and 10F (highest winning OR of 73).

Having held an entry for the Brocklesby Stakes but not declared to run, he made his debut at Windsor in a Class 5 maiden.  Available to back at 14/1 on the previous evening, he was sent off the 7/2 second favourite and ran out a 2¼ length winner.

His next appearance was at Chester in the Class 2 Lily Agnes Stakes.  Although drawn in stall 1, he had to be settled in behind the leaders before being ridden over two furlongs out.  He appeared to be getting the upper hand when taking the lead inside the last but RAH RAH battled back to win by ½ length.  In running, SILVER WINGS traded at the minimum of 1.01

He then returned to Windsor for a three runner Class 3 Novice Stakes but despite leading for four furlongs, he was outpaced a furlong out and had to settle for second place, beaten two lengths.
