Air India connects Bhubaneswar & Varanasi

November 9 (TravelAndy): Air India started direct flights between Bhubaneswar in Odisha and Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh from Sunday.

This is the first direct flight between the two cities.

The national carrier is operating four flights a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays.

This flight is an attempt to connect the two regions that are both important historical and pilgrimage destinations.

The authorities hope that the flight will give a boost to tourism in both the states.
