Inspiring Monday: there are such wonders in a half empty cup..

What’s your first reaction when you spill your coffee over your table? Are you mad at the mess or smiling at the chance to let creativity and beauty get a hold on you?

Just like this incredibly inspiring artist Giulia Bernardelli …

I recently discovered her stunning masterpieces on Instagram, and like every time I find something beautifully inspiring, I must share it with the whole world (or mine at least). I love people who are able to see beauty even in little accidents. They are the real artists, the ones who offer a genuine tribute to life.

Whatever she spills on her table is turned into beautiful art. Coffee, honey, even ketchup become the ink of her whimsical paintings:

Giulia’s profile on IG quotes Miles Davis :” My future starts when I wake up every morning. Every day I find something creative to do with my life“. Aren’t they words to live by?

Cheers to a creative, inspiring and beautiful week 🙂

  1. “fantastic” is probably too weak a word… found her on Instagram and will gladly follow her. Many thanks for that wonderful start of the week 😉

    1. My pleasure 🙂 Glad you like it too, she is indeed an amazing artist. And I like her philosophy. Not sure I want to share with the kids though, they would not understand why I don’t appreciate their own food art, which is based on the exact same approach .. Have a great week!

      1. yep… “Mum/Dad, don’t be angry for yet another fallen over glass of milk/juice, it’s art…” Hey, maybe you can make a living out of that…
Also to you a wonderful week!!

  2. Impressive and so creative, I did not know that people can do such coffee wonders! Thank you for sharing, I like it very much!

    1. I am so happy to share 🙂 I am always so impressed at what artists can do out of (almost) nothing.. Have a sweet week!

  3. Magnifique!

  4. I’ll never look at a cup of coffee the same way again! Giulia is so creative and talented and thank you for sharing her art with us!
Hmmm, if I could only do the same with eggplant parmigiana, perhaps? Not sure if I’d achieve the same results…LOL!

    1. You should! she is the one who did the eggplant in bikini too! And I know there is so much more you can do with an eggplant 😀 XXX
