In ten years from 2001 to 2014, UK citizens identifying in England as Xian dropped from 72% to 59% while folks claiming to have “no religion” grew from 14-25%! See article in the BBC News for more detail.
Even Catholic numbers have dropped in 2012 down to 4 million in England with only 1/5 of them attending Mass regularly.
So as I reported previously a few posts ago Xianity is declining in the US, and its not just here in the good ole U S of A, eh?
And speaking of “eh“… what about Canada, eh? How’s the flight to reason going for them in the Great White North?
Well, also in 2011, 67% in Canada identify as Xian with 24% in the “no religion” category and religious affiliation has been declining overall as well.
