Review: 3CE Blush and Joey Healy Brow Stucture Set

Good morning beautiful people!

Today I’m going to do my first beauty review on Honeybunnysoph. I bought two items from Luxola a few weeks back and received them before my trip to Singapore. I didn’t get an opportunity to try them out so I brought them with me to Singapore :)

Presenting to you the 3CE Blush in Love Filter and Joey Healy Brow Structure Clear Set! I’ve featured the two free gifts that came with my purchase in the picture, a sample size Klarity Lasertox CC Miracle Lotion and 1 ml Dr. Jart Anti Hairloss Cleanser. These will not be included in my review today.

I love how simple the packaging of the 3CE Blush is. It is contained in a beautiful smooth round black case with a clear cover.

3CE Blush in Love Filter

Love Filter is a beautiful shade of peach and would be most flattering on fair skin. It is a matte blush and although it is fairly pigmented, the light peach colour gives a very natural flushed look when applied on the cheeks. This is how it looks like on my skin:

Swatch of Love Filter

My skin has gotten somewhat tanned from the summer in Australia so the colour of the blush does not look very flattering when I swatch it on my arm. I used it on my face during the first day of CNY visiting and this is a close up shot of how it looks when applied:

Love Filter on me

It might look a little faint from the picture because it is quite pixelated, but there is a subtle shade of peach pink on my cheeks. I love how it looks so natural on my face and I feel that is what a blush should do. When applied properly it should give a nice flushed look instead of looking like the make up was done in a room with poor lighting (hence overdoing on the blush). When my tan fades off towards winter I can see myself using this blush very often as it would be a little more visible on my skin.

Joey Healy Brow Structure and a pretty little leather pouch

I was pleasantly surprised to find that my Joey Healy Brow Structure set came in a beautiful leather pouch! This is my first product from Joey Healy and also the first time an eye product came in a pouch for me. It isn’t anything too fantastic but it does look pretty luxe and edgy and I know I will find many uses for this pseudo freebie :)

I’ve only used this brow structure once and in my hurry I forgot to take a photo of how I look with it :( As this is a clear gel, I used it on my brows after filling my eyebrows with my Kate Eyebrow Kit. I have not used brow gels before and I’m amazed by how much definition this product gave my brows but yet still made them look natural! I had thought brow gels would be sticky and a little heavy but this Joey Healy Brow Structure set was so lightweight! I was also out in the sun and heat for a fair few hours and when I got home my brows were still in place. I’m pretty impressed with it and would definitely be using this more often going forward.

On-the-go make up bag idea

This is probably how I will be using my free pouch, to fit my make up items for on-the-go touching up because my current pouch is a little too big. Always good to have a pouch that takes up lesser space in my bag :)

Have you used any of the products I’ve reviewed today? Or maybe you have heard positive/negative reviews on them from elsewhere? I’d love to hear what you think!

Haha no you’re not, I’ve only heard of them not long ago myself! They’re a Korean beauty brand and have been receiving positive responses so I thought I’d give it a go. But if I’m not wrong they only have physical counters in Korea at the moment although they ship overseas. Was worried that the blush wouldn’t suit me at first but so relieved it all worked out in the end :D

Let me know your thoughts!
