I taught myself how to crochet and I love it….I sort of took a hiatus from it for about 10 years due to arthritis and carpel tunnel syndrome but I have decided it’s the only talent I have and have decided to bite the bullet and crochet pain or not…so far I’ve been doing well for the past 3 weeks or so and I have not had any pain from it. I’ve always wanted to know how to knit and tried to teach myself that years ago but gave it up. Still I have the desire to knit just don’t think I Have the talent for that one. Glad to be a new member of the group.

I became aware of Crochet Crowd because of an advertisement on FB. I was happy to subscribe. My Grandma (died 1985) taught me to crochet and knit when I was ten years old, 1974. Thanks for the passion, Grandma!

Jennifer, I also learned how to Crochet at the age of 9 (1971) and my Grandma (dad’s side) passed away in 1983. But she taught me how to crochet with my Right hand, and I’m left handed. Go figure :) My other Grandma on my Mom’s side taught me how to Cook and Sew. She passed in 1998.

Just a simple “thanks” for all you do, affirming, encouraging, researching, joking, applauding, tutorial-ing, marketing! Thanks, thank, thanks.
