YOU KILLED ME BARRACK – Melting Ice Towers

I MISS YOU BARRACK. I REALLY DO.

I MISS YOU BARRACK. I REALLY DO.

Rage was burning inside her. She got her clutch and car keys and got out of the mansion. The outside atmosphere was cold and the sounds of crickets combined with those of weird night-birds were evident at her massive compound.

It was at 9 pm.

SHE GOT INSIDE THE GARAGE AND DROVE HER 2015 FORD MUSTANG

SHE GOT INSIDE THE GARAGE AND DROVE HER 2015 FORD MUSTANG

She quickly got outside the garage and within seconds, a Ford Mustang got out of the garage and soon, she was driving at a certain estate called Bentakara. It was a rich estate where only those who had a reasonable amount of cash could afford to rent a mansion there.

She had been living in Bentakara earlier when her relationship with his husband was full of life and abyss fun until a lady called Nora engulfed her sweet life.

The car halted at the gate of her marital home. She sat transfixed on the seat and gradually, the sweet memories of her earlier life started consuming her. She started flashbacking the episodes of sweet love she had enjoyed with her husband Barrack.

…..they married. Barrack was the cutest guy she had ever admired in her life. She remembered that very day that they kissed and proposed to the world that they would last for eternity. Barrack was holding her body so tightly, full of love and warmth. She felt protected and taken care of. She remembered the moments Barrack touched her lips and their hands felt each other’s body in their very secret room of the mansion. She remembered also the kisses and the excellent romantic getaways she had received. She had never come to that idea that they would once part.

SHE DROPPED A TEAR. HOW COULD HE..

SHE DROPPED A TEAR. HOW COULD HE..

A tear dropped down her eye and rolled to the cleavage area. She flashbacked that fateful day that they visited a clinic and the doctor pronounced words that brought her whole life in the mess she is currently in.

“…. I’m sorry to say this Madam. You are barren. You can’t have the ability to produce babies of your own…” the doctor said

Barrack got up and left the clinic leaving her crying at the patient’s seat. She was consoled by the doctor who really had a heart. The one she had loved most wasn’t there to give a hand in her sorrows. She cried in pain.

When she got home, Barrack told her that she couldn’t stand a life without his own babies. He went ahead and signed for divorce.

All this time she remembered her unanswered questions. She felt as if she was sounding like a mad woman.

‘Barrack, we signed commitment till death do us apart…’

‘Barrack…?’

‘Why are you doing this to me, it ain’t my fault’

She flashbacked those questions which went unanswered as Barrack packed his clothes and left the house. She came closer to the window and watched him drive away in a chauffeur driven Rolls Royce.

She dropped a tear again. She looked at the gate. She rubbed her tears using her wet palms and got outside the car. She was allowed in by the soldier who guarded the gate. Slowly, she walked through the compound as she had done back in the past enjoying the flower gardens. She got closer to the mansion and viewed certain silhouettes moving about inside the building. She got closer to take a better view. She peeped through the long floral curtains on the window. She couldn’t believe her eyes.

Barrack was kissing Nora- his newly begotten. He was so into Nora that he closed his eyes as the sensations consumed him. She glared at the horrible scene for about 5 minutes as she cried at the window. It was a lot of pain to sustain.

SHE STILL LOVED HIM

SHE STILL LOVED HIM

She wanted Barrack. She still loved him more than everything. She painfully swallowed the grief and got up. She shuffled and walked out of the gate. Seating back at the driver’s seat in her car, she removed a portrait of Barrack kissing her during her wedding day. She glared at it. Her eyes were wet and swollen with tears. She kissed it and hugged it. Her eyes dripped more tears uncontrollably as she lay on the steering.  She knew Barrack was gone forever.

After some minutes, she started the engine and sped away.

At 7.00 am news bulleting: “A red Ford Mustang crushed at the main highway from the Bentakara Rich Estate at around 2 am. A body of a lady confirmed dead was also found in the wreckage. Most astonishing was that an intact portrait was found stuck in her flesh.”
