She walks upon a broken bridge

only to find a rough looking man

who calls himself the Gate Keeper.

He said “No passing till you tell me

One thing from your past and

One from your present”

She said “Blood ran down my wrists

while I licked it clean and I have a

stomach full of pain pills”

“My”,  said the Gate Keeper,  preoccupied with her tale

“now tell me one thing from your presen”t

she said “I have passed this broken bridge and you’re falling from it now…
