Welcome! Today is a sad day because it’s the Colour Me Challenge’s final challenge. This week marks challenge #100, so it’s time to wrap up. This week is a monochromatic challenge using sky blue.
I of course have a how-to video to share with you, but before I get to that I’d like to just tell you how the Colour Me challenge brightened my life.
If you’re a regular follower of my blog, or YouTube channel, you’ll know that I’m fairly new to the crafting game. About two years ago, I had been experimenting with cardmaking and wanted to start playing along with the CMCC. The CMCC has always been a place of positivity and support and it gave me enough confidence to spread my wings and participate in other areas of the online cardmaking community. It was also the first ever design team that I contributed to. My experience with the CMCC has inevitably coloured the way I have continued on my cardmaking journey, and I am so grateful for the opportunity to have participated in such a positive voice.
Now, onto my card for this week. As with most monochromatic cards, I like to use the colour sparingly so that it doesn’t overpower the card. You can see how I created my card below, or over on my YouTube channel.
Thank you so much for dropping by this week. I hope to see you playing with us over at the Challenge.
