Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018.
It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
This weeks topic is Top Ten Winter 2018 TBR

1 Sleigh Rides and Silver Bells at the Christmas Fair
by Heidi Swain
I bought this at the NSPCC book fair, with the intention of reading it this December.
Confession time – I’ve already read it!
I started as soon as I could in the start of December, as it too me ALL of November to read my OCTOBER books…
2 Christmas at Mistletoe Cove
by Holly Martin
I bout this and one other in the supermarket the other day, because I decided that one Christmas book wasn’t enough.
Comparatively, this one was terrible. I still finished it in two days however.
If you’re lucky, I might even write a review!
3 Snowflakes and Cinnamon Swirls at the Winter Wonderland
by Heidi Swain
This is the other book I bought in the supermarket!
Once I realised it was set in the same place as the other book (see #1) and that, in fact, all her books were, I set about buying them so I could read them in order.
This hasn’t quite worked, because I’m reading the first published but 2 people from other books have been written so now I’m confused. I might abandon that plan and just read this and the other Christmas one and save the other summer ones for the summer….
4 A Court of Thorns and Roses
by Sarah J Maas
Ok, so this is a re-read but I had hoped to have read this series by the end of the year. But to read the series you have to start with book one!
5 A Curse so Dark and Lonely
by Brigid Kemmerer
Ahhhh, I also wanted to read this in October, but there are plenty other Netgalley books I need to read first – which means I’ve read none of them of course!

I’m getting very little reading done this year, but if I were to read something this Winter I would choose from the following…
6 City of Ghosts
by Victoria Schwab
I haven’t managed to get my annual Schwab fix so it would be nice to read this before the end of the year.
7 The Christmas Cookie Club
by Ann Pearlman
I bought this at the book fair this year because I wanted to read a christmasy book. I still haven’t got round to read it… but it does sound cute and fluffy so maybe I’ll squeeze it in.
8 Norse Mythology
by Neil Gaiman
This book keeps calling to me from my bookshelves! I need to read it.
9 The Wicked Deep
by Shea Ernshaw
I got this in a bookbox. I hear Netflix have acquired the rights to this! So I hope to read it before it comes out.
10 Sadie
by Courtney Summers
I get the impression that this book is going to be emotional and hard to read at times but I’m still so excited to read it. I love Courtney Summers’ style of writing and that she always writes about something gritty and shocking.
I had A Curse So Dark and Lonely on my list this week too!

You’ve got a few books that would be great reads for the 12 Books of Christmas reading challenge I host. I hope you enjoy these and have a great week.
Norse Mythology is awesome – I listened on audiobook and it was great.
