Describe it in 25 words or less.

Pete: Steve Rogers, after numerous failed attempts, is accepted into the military but only as a guinea pig for an experiment that turns into Captain America.

Brigette: A very patriotic but unfit man undergoes an experiment that gives him superhuman strength so that he can help the U.S. win WWII.

Any particular reason for choosing this film?

Pete & Brigette: We are huge comic book film adaptation fans.

What did you think of the poster and/or credit art?

Brigette: I loved the end credits. Check them out here.

Brigette: Comic Book Adaptation

Who was your favorite character and why?

Pete: Colonel Phillips because of his underlying charm.

Brigette: Dr. Erskine because he was a man of science but also had compassion.

Who was your least favorite character and why?

Pete: Red Skull because he just freaked me out.

Brigette: Dr. Zola because he was a man of science without convictions.

How was the casting?

Pete: It was much better than I expected with Tommy Lee Jones and Hugo Weaving being the stand outs for me. I thought everyone did an excellent job.

Did it grab you immediately or did it take a while?

Pete: It grabbed me immediately and kept me entertained throughout, more so than I had anticipated.

Brigette: It was immediately entertaining and maintained momentum throughout.

How was the soundtrack?

How was the ending?

Pete: Enjoyable in the fact that it was not entirely predictable.

Brigette: A complete set-up for The Avengers.

What was the moral of the story?

Pete: Don’t let power corrupt you.

Brigette: Stand by your convictions.

Who would you recommend it to?

Pete: Anyone who enjoys action films or Marvel comics.

Brigette: People who enjoy seeing their comic books on the big screen.
