Summary:

David Wozniak (Vince Vaughn) is a middle age man who is working in his families butcher shop as a delivery driver and he really doesn’t do that good. Wozniak is a man who has tried all his life to dodge responsibility but finds out that the sperm bank that Wozniak made frequent deposits impregnated and conceived 533 kids. Now some of them want to know who their father is.

My Thoughts:

First off for those that do not know this movie is based after the 2011 movie titled Starbuck. I have not seen this movie yet but I know it is streaming on netflix and I will have to check it out now. And the reason I want to do this is because I really enjoyed this movie.

This has to be one of Vince Vaughn’s best role in a film for a while. Yes we still get some of the same old same old Vaughn that we have seen in all his films. But there are times where you can see that he is stepping up and carrying the lead role in this movie.

Though this role his not really Vaughn stepping out of his comfort zone. We have seen him play a good many roles where he is a middle age man who hasn’t grown up and reached his full potential but yet through the movie we see him strive and reach that maturity.

But one thing that was really nice was the heart warming moments where Vaughn decides to check in on some of the kids that have put the suit together so that they can find out who their biological father is. These moments we see Vaughn’s character making decisions that are not centered around him but Vaughn making choices that are beneficial to those around him.

Though there is the point that helps kickstart this path for Vaughn and that his is girlfriend Emma (Cobie Smulders) who time after time has put up with all his antics and has decided that Vaughn needs to grow up and the reason for this is because Emma is pregnant with their baby.

My Recommendation:

I have to say see it. I really think Vince Vaughn does a really good job in this movie. And there are many touching moments in this movie.
