Whatever that means

Beaut House

The occasional taking of the bus and train only underlines what a total pain in the arse it is. We’ve now reached the point where, in a straight race, the bus taking its route and me taking mine, I can get from Limekilns to Ferrytoll on my bike faster than the bus. Can’t be right. And then there’s the train. Jesus.\r\n\r\nAnyway, it’s the problem of deciding whether it’s better to take the bike in and end up leaving it at the office and getting the train tomorrow or just skipping a day. Next time, remember that it’s more of a pain filling panniers full of all the clothes and bags and papers that wrongly end up at home than it is taking them on the bus and train. Either way you end up on the train. \r\n\r\nBut it was a good fun morning feigning strategy and then heading to Glasgow. I was there to talk to people at the tail end of a day when they’d been sitting in comfy chairs in a warm, dimly-lit room. I was barely in the door and I was getting sleepy. God knows how they were feeling.
