Jennifer’s Color Your World – Asparagus
I decided to be literal today so I used Asparagus as the topic for these photos. So I grabbed a plate and my mason jar with asparagus and went outside to take these photos.

Great work Cee. I have a great way to enjoy the asparagus. It is called Asparagus and Cheese on Toast. Cook the asparagus in a microwave for about 5 minutes (not quite all the way done). Meanwhile, I use a toaster oven to both toast my bread and to broil afterwards. Line a small cookie sheet with aluminum foil and spray it with cooking oil to prevent sticking. Place two slices of toast together on the foil. Arrange the asparagus spears over the two pieces of toast. Cover with sliced cheddar cheese. Place under the broiler until the cheese melts. Simple and delicious.
