The Ardhowen Theatre is situated with the picturesque backdrop of Enniskillen’s Lough Erne. The theatre opened in 1986 and offers a year round programme inclusive of various art forms including professional drama, classical music, opera, ballet, contemporary dance, a wide range of music; jazz, blues, country, folk, as well as comedy, arts, children events and lectures.

The venue has a 290 seater raked auditorium as well as a smaller studio space for smaller and more intimate performances. In addition to these performance spaces the Ardhowen has a number of hospitality facilities including a splendid restaurant and a number of bars and an exhibition space.

The theatre is home to the annual International Beckett Festival which usually runs in August for a week. Last year the festival was met with rave reviews including a piece in the New York Times who remarked on how great the festival was and how popular it was among the local population. Keep your eyes peeled as the line-up will be revealed in the next few weeks.
