A Few Updates for February 21st
Woman in the Middle | February 21, 2016Blackie had a great birthday. We bought him some soft cat treats that he LOVED. He galloped down the hall, just like old times. He napped, he ate, and he pooped. Not much more can be expected of an 84-year-old! Meanwhile, Youngest Daughter posted the following on her Facebook page. It made me laugh. “My cat Blackie turned 17 today. He’s already looking at colleges and is going to get his driver’s license soon so this will be a big year for him.”
Hubby continues to work seven days a week. However, he is working more normal hours on those days. We actually got to have dinner with him last night. Whoo hoo!
After getting some rain and temperatures in the normal range for this time of year, the thermostat is inching back up to the 80s this week. I think I have no choice but to go get a pedicure. I can’t keep hiding my feet. It will be too warm for too long.
Youngest Daughter has gotten a couple of emails from “Fartax” about her car being ordered and headed this direction. Meanwhile, she can save a bit more money for it, if you want to try to find a bright side to all of this. On the down side, what little time Hubby does have at home is being spent trying to get her old car to run. So annoying….
Hope you are having a great Sunday!
Well pleased to hear Blackie had a good birthday and was nice and spoilt, at least you could see a somewhat bright side of the whole car thing.
I think it’s funny that you call them fart-ax. What did you say to get them to deliver the exact car all the way from Colorado?
Why does Hubby have to work so much? Is it because there are no other companies who do what he does in the area?
He got a big project related to the gas leak in Porter Ranch. It fell in his lap quickly so he didn’t have time to get ready for it and has been flying by the seat of his pants ever since.
