Happy Tuesday! It’s time for a new challenge over at CASology. This week’s cue card is NAUTICAL. As always, you can interpret the word literally or think outside the box. Here is my take on the challenge:

I started by die cutting an anchor out of a sticky note with Float My Boat die set from Lawn Fawn. Then I drew a rope myself with a pencil on the sticky note and cut it out with scissors. After masking off the anchor and rope, I inked the colors with Tim Holtz Distress Inks: Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean, Evergreen Bough, and Broken China. I finished off my card with the sentiment from Sentiments&Quotes stamp set by Altenew.

Now it’s your turn to play along. There is a wonderful prize up for grabs from Melon Door Lighthouse and the winner will have a chance to guest design on the next challenge. Make sure to check out the CASology challenge blog to see how the rest of the designers interpreted the cue word. Thanks so much for stopping by. Happy crafting!
