Well, these salt & pepper chips are most definitely ‘better made’ than the last Better Made product we reviewed (that’s right, get used to it, we don’t plan on quitting with these Better Made quips until we’ve reviewed each and every last one of their products….).

These potato chips were coated with larger black pepper dots, along with lighter, smaller white pepper dots, and had a really potent peppery “heat” to them that tickled at the back of our throats.  The balance between the salt and pepper seasoning was spot on with these, and the little touch of garlic and onion seasonings (which seem to be present in just about every chip) rounded these chips out nicely.

The potato chips themselves were not too crispy and not to soggy, with a great potato flavor.  We always appreciate when a brand decides to leave the chips a bit rustic with their skins on.

After these chips, we now see why Better Made has such a strong chip fan following in the Detroit area.
