The Best Makeup Formula for Your Skin Type

For years I’ve been watching YouTube makeup tutorials to learn different ways to do my makeup, and I’d like to think that I’ve mastered it, but one thing still gets me; is the type of makeup I use right for my skin type? I’ve never figured it out, and I like to think I’ve tried everything. So this is not only for me to help you out, but for my own benefit as well. Let’s take a makeup journey together!right-foundation-for-skin-type-bopThis article gives a general ides of what direction you should go in, but it didn’t have enough information in it for me to feel satisfied.

After I kept searching, I found some real gems; the first being how to find my skin type, (I found I had a combination, so I can find common products from those sections to use):

Then I found a branch chart that gave a better idea of the kinds of foundation to use based on skin type and end effect:

I also found different types of foundation formulas ranging from powder to liquid, and what they are best used for:

I found a semi-helpful chart that looks at climate rather than skin type, because let’s face it, we all change things up willy-nilly:

And finally, I found a skin type, makeup and application chart that is going to probably save my life:

While I’m keeping all of this information in mind, and will most likely practice with it, I am always keeping my eye out for the best advice, and will update you if I find anything new and mind-blowing!
