The ceiling is covered in white gilt leaf and the walls are upholstered in paper backed terracotta linen. The “Tamara” Chesterfield was custom designed for the space by MLB. The lime leather chairs are by Courreges circa 1965. The lacquered coffee table was custom designed for the room by Martyn Lawrence Bullard.The “Jean Michelle Frank” style sofas are covered in Schumacher velvet. The rug is custom painted rabbit fur stenciled with the Jimmy Choo Leopard print. The Vintage 1970’s Italian chandelier came from Vincenzo Caffarella in London and the coffee table was custom-made in a Willy Rizzo style by Martyn Lawrence Bullard. Art work circa 1967 by Jim Dine.
A tablescape of vintage Murano, Venini and Segusso vases decorate a green lacquered console by Serge Roche in the living room. The lamp is 1970’s from Vincenzo Caffarella, London.Flanking the fireplace is a pair of scagliola tusks by Karl Springer from the Rothschild Estate. The bronze wall sculpture is by Curtis Jere. The chairs are vintage Courreges and the upholstery is original.
The living room is dominated by a set of Guido Mocafico “snake” photography. The Tamara sofa is by Martyn Lawrence Bullard Home and the metal waterfall tables are by Jean Michel Frank. The lamps are 1940’s Seguso glass.
The dining room table is vintage Albrizzi, the chairs are 1940’s Jacques Adnet. Serge Roche Mirrored stands hold 1960’s glam bottles by Venini. The drapery is made of Schumacher’s silk, trimmed with Houle’s tape.
The entry wall is dominated by a photograph of a Jimmy Choo shoe dripping in gold paint by Marilyn Minter. The red leather sofa was custom designed for the space by Martyn Lawrence Bullard. The stools are by Paul Evans circa 1970. The table sculpture is by Calder.A Curtis Jere 1970’s wall sculpture dresses the gold leaf paper in the entry.A Terence Koh wall neon sculpture enliven the hallway. Vintage Elsie De Wolf x-stools are covered in Brunschwig and Fils faux leopard. The red glass chandelier is 1960’s from Caffarella, London.
Tamara’s bedroom wallpaper is “Abacadazzle” by Maya Romanoff. The bed headboard was originally a 19th century Turkish gold thread embroidery of the tree of life, found in the Grand Bazaar, Istanbul. The lamps are 1970’s Italian and the side tables are French 1940’s Leleu. The custom leather bed skirt and shaved sheepskin blanket are both by Martyn Lawrence Bullard. The photo leaning on the bedside table is “Self Portrait” by Andy Warhol.Master Bedroom A Jim Dine photograph in the master bedroom is flanked by Jean de Merry chairs covered in cream alligator. The cashmere carpet is by Loro Piana and the gilded side table is from Giacometti. The fur throw is by Fendi.The master bathroom chandelier is 1960’s Seguso glass and the silver side table is Indian. The pair of Carlo Mollino stools are upholstered in Mongolian lamb. The mosaic floor was custom designed by Martyn Lawrence Bullard. The photographs are vintage prints by Horst P. Horst.
Media Room- The desk is by Maison Jansen. The carpet is alpaca from the Rug Company.The media room sofa was custom made by Martyn Lawrence Bullard. The alpaca rug is from The Rug Company. The Willy Rizzo coffee table is from Mallet, London. The chandelier is 1960’s Seguso glass and the table lamp is 1970’s Pierre Cardin. The sculpture on the coffee table is by Curtis Jere. The Grace Kelly is by Andy Warhol.In the media room, Tamara Mellon’s desk is by Maison Jansen. The lamp is 1970’s Pierre Cardin from Yves Gaston, Paris. The chair is by Paul Evans and was found in Guinevere, London.
In the guest bedroom the headboard is covered in a hand embroidered silk from India. The side tables are by Karl Springer and the lamp is by Paul Evans The bed is covered in a Fendi fox fur blanket.The guest bathroom has David Hicks wallpaper. The mirror is by Curtis Jere and dates from the late 1960’s. A Venini bowl sits on the counter. A brown tortoise-shell Hermes vase holds pink carnations. The wall lights are vintage Verner Panton.
Jimmy Choo Disco shoes painted by Marilyn Minter sit on the library bookshelves displayed as art.Tamara’s Shoe Closet holds more than 800 pairs of Jimmy Choo’s.
