RACH-C 10th Children’s Festival of Russian Culture in NY

April 11 – April 24

Yuri GagarinThis 10th anniversary Festival encompasses a broad range of elements which include:

An international painting contest by children on the theme, “My Dream of Space”, commemorating the 55th anniversary of the first manned flight into space by Yuri Gagarin. Children’s paintings from Russia and the USA will be exhibited at several venues. Children’s folk music & dance groups will perform at some :

April 11 – Albany, NYS Government Campus, – exhibit of paintings and a children’s concert of celebrating the first manned flight in space. (All day In the Concourse)

April 12 – Roslin, NY – exhibit of children’s paintings and concert to the 55th anniversary of manned space flight – Yuri Gagarin. (Russian Center of Russky Mir Foundation, 20 Roosevelt Ave. Roslin, NY 11576)

April 12 – Russian book club at the UN – exhibit of children’s paintings about first manned flight into space 55 years ago by Yuri Gagarin.

April 12 – Bright Minds Center in NY – exhibit of children’s paintings on the theme of Outer Space. April 12 to 24, (90 Maiden Lane, NY NY 10038.)

April 14 – Consulate General of Russia in NYC – exhibition of paintings and a concert of children dedicated to the 55th anniversary of the first manned flight into space – Yuri Gagarin.

April 24 – Closing of the 2016 Children’s Festival of Russian Culture at the Space Museum, Long Island, NY
