France 13 – 18 Argentina

Nicolas Sanchez France v ArgentinaMatchwinner: Nicolas Sanchez

Argentina held on for an 18-13 win over France in a low-quality affair at the Stade de France.

Los Pumas dominated the first half, opening up a 15-0 lead thanks to the boots of Nicolas Sanchez and Juan Martin Hernandez.

France eventually woke up and responded with a try from Wesley Fofana just before the hour.

They couldn’t get the final score they needed to finish the comeback however, with Scott Spedding held up on the final play.
