Noon – 1:30 p.m.
Visual storytelling is in demand – but what is it? And who uses it? Sally Falkow, recently named a top one percent Social Media Influencer by Kred, will tell all at the May PRRT luncheon. She knows what the media needs and how public relations practitioners can best partner with them to tell visual stories with news content. She’ll also discuss how to measure and quantify results.
Sally is a digital PR and social media strategist for Meritus Media, Senior Fellow at Society for New Communications Research, CEO at PRESSfeed and the publisher of The Proactive Report. She has been involved in the marketing and public relations industry for over 25 years, and has authored several e-books on Internet marketing strategy and the use of new technology in public relations.
Currently, Sally teaches classes on social media for public relations agencies and corporate staff on how to integrate social media with a traditional public relations strategy. She has lectured on communication theory, public relations strategy and consumer behavior at the university level, and she regularly writes The Proactive Report as a guide to digital public relations and social media.
Sally is an active member of the Social Media Club, which promotes new media education and standards. She was voted the best presenter in social media and technology for the Bulldog Reporter and “Public Relations Trainer of the Year” by PR News.
