Hope + Hunter | An Arlington Hall Engagement Session | Dallas, TX

Engagement sessions may be one of my favorite parts about being a wedding photographer. Don’t get me wrong, I love shooting weddings but the wonderful thing about an engagement shoot is that it’s the same emotion of a wedding but without the stress and the distractions. I get to just spend time with the couple, hear their story and help them express their love for one another. It’s a blast. Hope and Hunter were no different for their engagement shoot. We had so much fun and we laughed a lot as we walked around Turtle Creek and traipsed around in a field of wildflowers. Hope had seen some of my work that I had done for friends of hers and said that she had set her heart on having me as a photographer. Words that mean the world to me! I am so blessed that people believe in me and my work that much! She  contacted me immediately about shooting her wedding, which of course I was so flattered and SO excited to work with her and Hunter. Once we started talking about the wedding itself, I knew that I liked her style! When we met up for their session, I knew even more that we would all be a great fit. These two will be tying the knot at Hunter’s family ranch just outside of Austin this coming November and I cannot wait! Not only do I love that work takes me outside of my own city but more importantly, I love that it allows me to work with wonderful people like Hope and Hunter!

Enjoy some of my favs from their Arlington Hall and Harry Moss Park engagement shoot!

Happy Friday!

If you can’t tell, they love their Aggies!

Hope, you are beautiful my friend.

Um, hello?!?! Are these flowers not just plain wonderful?
