Once again we briefly see LMS Class 5MT 4-6-0 no’s 44871 and 45407 (The Lancashire Fusilier) with the Cathedral’s Express, this time on the afternoon of the 9th December.  Also see this morning’s advent calendar blog post (click here) for a good view of these two beautiful machines.  I was lucky enough to see this with my friend Simon of Brookes Castle, who then took me to see the beast… this will be covered in a blog post later in the week!
