Geller: ‘I am banned from Mecca, too…’
U.S. anti-Islamization activists Robert Spencer and Pamela Geller have been banned from the U.K…. After all, they are civil in Londonistan you know!
I really didn’t believe this would happen. Yesterday the UK officially banned both Robert Spencer and Pamela Geller from entering the country and thus participating in an EDL event as invited speakers. Robert wrote this on his website:
In a striking blow against freedom, the British government has banned us from entering the country. Muhammad al-Arifi, who has advocated Jew-hatred, wife-beating, and jihad violence, entered the U.K. recently with no difficulty. In not allowing us into the country solely because of our true and accurate statements about Islam, the British government is behaving like a de facto Islamic state. The nation that gave the world the Magna Carta is dead.
Predictably, the loopy left wing blogosphere are almost ecstatic. It would have been better if Spencer and Geller had had their heads lopped off by a couple of lone, isolated jihadists, out of the otherwise overwhelmingly good Muslims who live in London. But banned is good.
They did, however, have a symbolic beheading of a Jewish agitator though. The lefties hacked Spencer’s Jihad Watch website. I had to retrieve a cached copy to post the blog here today. Geller’s blog, Atlas Shrugs, is still up.
Isn’t it great to live in a country where you are not targeted by an Orwellian government or scandalized by an activist media because you don’t follow the PC party line? Breathe that air, you guys. Ah, the good old U. S. of A.
