Summary:

The story revolves around several things that we encounter each day; Family, love, music, misunderstandings, envy and hardships. Gyu Won  is the granddaughter of a famous pansori performer and wants to pass down the legacy of traditional music to Gyu Won. She’s been restricted to listen to kinds of Western music because her grandfather prohibits it strictly. In order to preserve traditional music she’s been instructed to do and listen solely to it all along. On the other side, Lee Shin has the character of a cold person. He shows that he doesn’t care about anything but his guitar and music but deep inside he is soft and kind. They are both students from Arts University, Gyu Won in Traditional Music while Lee Shin in Applied Music.

The development of affection between the two was quite late and can be shown in Episode 7. They’ve been acting like cat and mouse at the start and even had a competition, challenging the type of music they’ve been studying. It’s been The Windflower from the traditional music and The Stupid a famous band in the University for the Applied Music Department. Gyu Won lost the bet because of a broken string thus became Lee Shin’s slave for about a month. Lee Shin himself was kind of cruel to his slave and was so fond to their dance Professor at the early episodes. He’s been such a nuisance as the Professor treats him. Meanwhile, a popular Broadway director went back to Korea and was tasked to handle the Centennial Anniversary Performance of the University. As the story continuous the love story between the Director and the dance professor has been revealed. They may have the differences for not seeing each other but after six years, they still decided to start a new beginning. After knowing this, Lee Shin decided to give up and let the Professor he’s affectionate of, let go. This opened the portal for him to see Gyu Won as her Lady instead of being her slave.

In Progression, the drama focuses on their Centennial Performance where they face a lot of challenges from the Chairman’s wife and from other people who wants to bring the Director down. The bond between the performers turned to be unbreakable that even the performance was cancelled, with no one to support them; they still pursue to do it. The success of the musical performance has been a great relief to everybody and brought smiles to all performers for the job well done. Then, Gyu Won got an offer to go to UK in order to mold her and develop the talent she has. A year later, she’s been a popular musical performer but still has a weary heart for Lee Shin break up with her to let her reach her dream. *Shin got a wrist injury and got a surgery without Gyu Won knowing so that she wouldn’t worry. He just decided to break up with her so he won’t hinder in Gyu Won’s dream. *

The story ended with The Stupid performing with Gyu Won in the Catharsis again, a place where they always perform. The drama consists of 15 episodes with one special episode.
