3 Easy & Healthy Breakfast Ideas

All my food lovers- this one is for you. And also students, working girls and all who just want a good, healthy breakfast that’s easy to make or to take on the go [OMG did you just see that? I rhymed-ish].

First up and my personal faves are these banana bites which are tiny yet protein packed. Actually, tbh, all of these breakfasts are very much protein packed and light on the carbs which make it ideal for your busy mornings.

You just cut a ripe (not overripe) banana into bite sized pieces, layer it with peanut/almond butter and top it off with dried cranberries or raisins.

Next are these delicioso egg muffins [you can of for the cupcake vibe if you’d like, just saying]. I like these for many reasons: You can make as many of these as you’d like and then just store them in the fridge and warm them whenever you’re hungry so it’s perfect for super busy mornings where you just wanna grab and go. Also, you have the option of adding practically whatever you want to the muffins because it will bake in the over. How amazing is that right?

I added vegetarian sausage, tomatoes and onions [dice up everything so it bakes faster] but you can add mushrooms (YUMMY), chive [definitely would add these but I didn’t have them at the time], sweet peppers and even corn. Feel free to add salt if you’d like but for me, I don’t really cook with salt but black pepper is an amazing little seasoning which I love.

Bake for about 20 minutes @ 350 degrees C. I also would strongly recommend using a silicone muffin tray because honestly it makes life ridiculously easy that it’s scary.

food2Last up is another yummy breakfast idea and it’s these apple sandwiches. I used gala apples in this case because I feel like when you slice it up, the core isn’t tough like bigger apples. I would also try this with Granny Smith [green] apples because those are actually my fave types of apples. I used the gala apples also because I made these especially for my little brother and he likes this kind. You can use almond/peanut butter and I added raisins. Granola is also a great option if you like the extra crunch.
