Will definitively leave out Algonquin State Park in Ontario, it’s way too far away! Time to leave in about 3 hours, directed to Frankfurt, where I’ll stay over night. Tomorrow by that time ET I will be close to landing in NYC… Unbelievable!
12 days in the USA, 8 days in Canada so far – but plans are also there to be changed… I chose to go northwards first since the temperatures outside in the State Parks for hiking and swimming (maybe) by the sea in Cape Cod will be higher the earlier I get there. Indian Summer starts by that time, too – I hope for great views of unspoiled nature and colorful trees with snow covered summits. And my project No. 1 as resident of Innsbruck is – of course – to climb on Mt Katahdin (1605 m) located in Baxter State Park (ME). I am really curious to start, hope that weather will last and no hurricanes arrive by that time!
