RO Developments has sold its third unit in two months at its industrial warehouse scheme RO24 Swindon, Avro Gate, South Marston Park.  Unit 7 which totals 4,136 sq ft has been sold to Ilpra Systems UK Limited and follows recent sales to Michael Pollitt and FN Foods.

The purchase by Ilpra Systems UK represent a significant expansion for the Swindon based company and a major investment in their future and the town.

Ilpra Systems UK are distributors of food and non-food packaging machinery, manufactured by their Italian parent, Ilpra, who have over 50 years of expertise within the sector.

Ilpra Systems UK director, Brian O’Donoghue, commented: “In very difficult trading conditions we made a unanimous and very tough decision to invest in larger premises and after viewing several sites decided that South Marston Park offered us the best location and premises. We have out grown our existing site in Wroughton and have to also rent additional warehouse space which is not ideal. The new unit will enable us facilitate both current and future needs and all the goods will be under one roof making it easier to manage and better service our clients in the food packaging sector.”

Richard Bourne, development director at RO Developments, commented: “RO24 Swindon continues to prove popular with local businesses and private investors. We only have 5 units remaining in a variety of sizes from 1,210 sq ft to 6,172 sq ft. At current pricing levels and with the momentum we have got, we expect these to get snapped up quickly.”

The quoting price for Unit 7 was £340,000 and for further information, please contact Alastair Andrews at Loveday and Loveday on (01793) 423344 or Brian O’Donoghue at Ilpra Systems UK Limited on (01793) 814604, www.ilpra.eu.
