IMPORTANT EVENT NOTICE – MELBOURNE LOCAL LABOR MEMBERS URGED TO ATTEND

During the Federal Labor leadership contest in October last year, the candidates Bill Shorten and Anthony Albanese responded to an extensive Local Labor survey on their commitment to reforming and renewing the Australian Labor Party.

With a platform of “Party. Policy. People”, Bill Shorten ultimately won that contest and now as the Federal Opposition Leader, and leader of the Australian Labor Party will give an important keynote address on his vision and plans for a modern and progressive Australian Labor Party at 1:30pm-3:00pm Monday 7 April.

Featuring the Leader of the Opposition, the Hon. Bill Shorten MP and the Hon. Steve Bracks AC, former Premier of Victoria and co-author of the Bracks/Carr/Faulkner Review.

Keynote speech followed by an audience Q & A session.

    Due to the sad passing of an immediate member of Bill Shorten’s family, his speech on ALP reform has been postponed. A new time and location will be announced.
